Fun With 2-D Shapes

St. Patty's Day!

We read many St. Patrick's Day themed books and learned all about the leprechauns and their pots of gold! We even learned a new word- mischief.

The Leprechauns visited our room and left quite a mess for us to pick up! They were nice enough to leave us some goodies!

We had a lot of fun completing all of our St. Patrick's Day crafts.

We made cute shamrocks by coloring coffee filters with yellow and green and spraying them with a water bottle. We also wrote about times when we feel lucky!

We finished off St. Patrick's Day with a poem in our poetry notebook.

Mr. Wiggles- Book Care

We have been learning the importance of taking care of books. We have a large classroom library and have learned how to take care of our books so others can continue to enjoy reading them. We read "book care" themed books and completed a few activities to go along with them. Our favorite was Mr. Wiggles!
