We read the story, ThePilgrims' First Thanksgiving with our second grade buddies. We then used colored beads to retell the story.

We made Indian vests & headbands and Pilgrim hats.

Math: Counting- Ants In My Pants!

Mrs. Garcia read us the story, Ants in My Pants. The book was written in Spanish. She read it in Spanish and translated it to English. Our class loved hearing the story in Spanish! We then picked out how many ants were going to be in our paper pants!

The Napping House

We read the book the Napping House and retold the story in the correct sequence.

Apples!

We learned all about apples. We read a lot of apple themed books, learned about Johnny Appleseed and completed a lot of apple activities.
